Lapitur Yellow sandstone, also known as Focus or Budhpura Sand, has quartz grains that are cemented together by secondary silica and Calcite. Due to the presence of quartz, this is also called quartzitic sandstone. Its natural blue-gray color makes it very popular in paving, and most urban planners in Europe, particularly Belgium and Great Britain, find this sandstone most useful in their old urban renewal projects. The naturally fissured surface, partly due to the stone’s strong physical and chemical composition, is also very smooth and fissured. It is frequently used in large landscaping projects. It is also extremely popular for use as wall cladding and in various other interior and exterior landscaping applications. This material is frost-resistant, and the color is fairly consistent. We strive to use material from quarries where the stone does not brown after application. The stone can be natural, sawn, sandblasted, brushed, honed, or polished, depending on the application requirements. Available in tiles, slabs, cobblestones, and blocks, we offer Lapitur Yellow Stone in a variety of finishes to create an interesting interior or exterior.
